School-Based Mental Health & Wellness Path

Our School-Based Mental Health & Wellness Path is designed to serve you on your road to a career supporting schools as centers of wellness.

In Sacramento, we believe that every student deserves to have mental health supports in the classrooms anytime they need it. We are transforming schools into centers of wellness by placing mental health teams in every school across the county. This is transformational work, and we need your help.

Education Path

As a teacher and school leader, you can make a real difference in the lives of your students and their families. You help them see their potential and nurture their dreams. Educators, you have the ability to explore career paths in and out of the classroom working with different age groups or in leadership and administrative roles, and SCOE has programs to support you along the way.

Early Learning

The Sacramento County of Education Career Pipeline supports the full continuum of professional careers in early learning and care. The pipeline is a roadmap to the profession which is defined by a series of flexible paths starting with sparking an interest in high school students and continuing with support for aspiring preschool and transitional kindergarten teachers.

Transitional Kindergarten - Grade 12

The Career Pipeline’s transitional kindergarten through grade twelve path is designed to support you on the road to earning your teaching or administrative credential. Through the Sacramento County Office of Education’s School of Education you will have access to high-quality credential programs and professional development as you start, or continue, your career as an educator.
